Choose from a list of projects proposed by TREES supervisors. 

Route 2 — Self-Proposed Project
Want to pursue an original idea? Collaborate with a TREES supervisor from the outset and propose your own PhD project aligned with TREES themes.

Tips for Applicants

  1. Review existing advertised projects first to see where your interests match.
  2. Early contact with potential supervisors can help you fine-tune your proposal (especially for Route 2).
  3. Make sure you review the guidance document to ensure your application strongly aligns to the shortlisting criteria
  4. Pay attention to required documents (CV, transcripts, references).
  5. Submit before the deadline — late submissions will not be accepted.
